8/22/2023 0 Comments Sims 4 paranormal release![]() The trailer from Snowy Escape almost had me pre-order it but I'm glad I waited. I'm just doing my best to keep from getting overhyped so I don't get too disappointed. :P Edit: I guess they're not strictly lying but it still FEELS like a bit of a bait and switch.ĭon't get me wrong, I'm thrilled they're doing the surveys and seem to be listening to the various requests and complaints people are having. Please don't piss on my leg and then tell me it's raining, EA. I like Laundry Day, Eco Lifestyle, Nifty Knitting, and Snowy Escape for the most part but it's kind of shitty that they keep doing this since it allows them to get away with cutting corners more. EA is really good at tantalizing us with new ideas or more variety and then handing us something different while telling us this is what we asked for. I also voted for crafting in the other survey before I realized they were only giving us one crafting skill. Remember, Laundry Day was originally voted in as Off-the-Grid and they eventually gave us more of that in Eco Lifestyle. Another Edit: And I am happy to see Bonehilda again but they could've given her to us at any point.Īlso, just because the community voted on it doesn't mean it's what we voted FOR. (Also, we had a fortune-teller career in Sims 3 so I see this as perhaps a bit of a hybrid of those two ideas, which is nice because the fortune-teller was a great idea but only a rabbit hole in Sims 3.) The mystery aspect could be a lot of fun I just hope it's more enduring than the single mystery from Strangerville. So I'm cautiously optimistic since it looks intriguing but I'm not seeing anything super unique or exciting regarding the main draw of the pack, which is a valid criticism IMHO. Obviously, it's not fair to keep pointing at the past over originality and I'm getting off-track BUT a complaint lodged at that career and a lot of the active careers in Sims 4 is how tedious they eventually get. at some point, I really need to get Sims 3 finely honed and try those out. I kick myself for not continuing further in one of the showtime careers or another active career. (Edit: Obviously it's a very different aesthetic lol) In retrospect another one I never actually played, I only remember trying the firefighter career and the detective one. :)īut also, in Sims 3 there was a paranormal ghost-catching career (basically the ghostbusters) so I'm not sure how this will compare with that. I can't say much because I'm a wimp and never actually used the previous lot trait before but I'm hoping they're very different. My bigger qualm is how Haunted House will differ from Spooky and how much replayability it'll have. (I wasn't dying to be the Grim Reaper but it's much more distinctive than what we have here.) ![]() And like you said, it's not the same career people voted for, which is why I'm only so-so. ![]() ![]() I'm still not sure how fresh the active career will be so I'm not trying to dump on it but I'm also not sure how it'll play out. So no, it's not a slap in the face, I can finally have haunted houses, without having to kill a bunch of sims or dealing with the constantly duplicating challot ghosts. The haunted lot type fixes this issue, by using spectors, instead of grabbing your dead sims at random and making them haunt your lot.įor me, the spooky/haunted lot trait is so borked that Bernard and Mimsy (The haunted challet garden NPC ghosts from get together) randomly show up and bork and start invading my saves with replacement ghosts because they're not intended to ever leave that garden lot and loose their special trait when they do. Even tho you're in that creepy san Myshuno apartment and Eliza's corpse isn't anywhere near san Myshuno. Say Eliza died and Is buried in Bob's back yard in willow creek, any lot with the haunted/spooky lot trait will have her ghost show up and do normal ghost stuff. Takes random dead sims the player played with and makes them show up on the lot as if their grave was there. ![]() 8/22/2023 0 Comments Svgviewer![]() ![]() Opening an SVG image with a built-in program on your computer is just as easy. This is proven by 13 new powerful songs which were recorded at the Mana Recording Studio in Tampa, Florida under the guiding hands of Erik Rutan (MADBALL, GOATWHORE, CANNIBAL CORPSE, etc.) and producer Freddy Cricien of MADBALL. Actually planning to record a single, it came out to be a full album in the end – “Something’s Gotta Give” marked the official reunion after a five year break. Though the band decided to separate in 1993 after the release of the live album “Last Warning” and Stigma concentrated on another Hardcore combo called MADBALL (which he had built up in 1988), Stigma and Miret got together again in 1998 after they had met at a MADBALL concert. ![]() Due to their undisputable authenticity, Agnostic Front were able to gain a loyal community of fans who stuck to them for better or for worse. "This is the sort of thing that defenders will do if they're desperate," he said. Professor Clarke added that a move against the plant by Russia would underline its desperation. "Anyone trying to blow a reactor up would blow it up from the bottom, but if you explode something from the top, that almost certainly is to make it look as if it's incoming artillery round ," he said. Professor Clarke says that, if intelligence reports are correct, the devices could help Russia with a false flag operation. It is also worth noting that this counteroffensive is a critical moment for Ukraine Western support is not unlimited, and there are limited supplies of high-tech weapons available. So, progress will not be rapid - as the chairman of the US joint chiefs General Mark Milley advised, this will be slow and it will be bloody. This phase will also involve deception to get Russia to commit its reserve forces to shore up one area of the frontline, leaving Ukraine to exploit progress in another.įurthermore, Yevgeny Prigozhin's ill-fated coup attempt might well have an impact on Russia's force dispositions as it is very likely that Vladimir Putin will want to strengthen domestic security, which again might erode the resilience of deployed forces in Ukraine. The next phase would have been probing - testing out the Russian defensive crust to identify weaknesses to exploit. The first phase of the counteroffensive would have been shaping - targeting the Russian logistic supply lines, oil storage and lines of communication (rail). However, the widespread press coverage of Mr Zelenskyy's diplomatic efforts means that Russia has had time to prepare defences against any major Ukrainian offensive they have established hundreds of kilometres of layered defences, including anti-tank ditches, so-called dragon's teeth and mines.įorces on the offensive generally suffer three times the casualties of those on the defence, and Ukraine will need to be very careful not to be drawn into an attritional battle that would favour their opponents. President Zelenskyy has been amazingly effective at securing advanced weaponry from the West to support the highly anticipated Ukrainian counteroffensive, but that has created an "air of expectation" in the West of a swift and decisive victory for Ukraine. Initially, the West only provided "defensive" weapons - such as anti-tank missiles - to assist Ukraine, but over time has gradually gained confidence that Ukraine would not use their weapons on Russian soil and risk the conflict escalating and spreading. Instead, Ukraine was able to halt the illegal Russian invasion, and over the past year has pushed Russia back out of around 50% of the territory it once held.īut, Ukraine is heavily dependent on the West for weapons and ammunition. ![]() ![]() Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his Ukrainian military forces have proven incredibly resilient against what should - at least on paper - have been a superior Russian force.īetter equipped and with numerical advantage, Russia might have expected to sweep Ukrainian resistance away and subjugate the whole country in a matter of weeks.
